This charming converted stable is located alongside Knockdrinna Cafe in the village of Stoneyford. Purcells' is part of a complex of 5 converted stone farm buildings. It has a double height living area, separate kitchen, 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms ensuite. The downstairs is fully wheelchair accessible with wide doors and accessible wet room/shower and toilet. We have renovated using natural wood throughout. There is an open fire and electric heating for which there is a charge in winter

The space
'Purcells' was built in the 1800's and has been tastefully converted to a comfortable two bedroom dwelling. The building is part of a complex of 5 traditional stone farm buildings on Robert and Helen Finnegan's farm, each one making the most of the buildings unique characterstics.  
Purcells has a unique charm, from the moment you step inside. The lounge/living area is a double-spaced area with lots of natural wood throughout along with a wood stove and fireplace. A separate kitchen is adjacent to the living area also made from traditional pine. It offers all mod cons with cooker/oven microwave, fridge dishwasher etc. There is a downstairs bedroom with bathroom/wet room shower. The doors are extra wide on the ground floor making it suitable for wheelchair access. Uptairs has a compact double bedroom and ensuite shower toilet.  
'Purcell's' is part of a bundle of renovated traditional stone buildings in the village of Stoneyford. Also in that bundle of buildings is Knockdrinna Cafe/Deli and Knockdrinna Farmhouse Cheese which guests can access. Guests can access the wide ranging deli menu and also our picnic basket service. Your kitchen has its own picnic basket and cold bag which we will happily stock for you on your day trips away.  
The building complex also has an old orchard/garden and which is a tranquil and pleasant area to sit. A vist to the farm yard is just up the road and Robert will be happy to take you to see the brood mares and their foals housed in our stable complex.
